The Passage

So I put this aside. After the first 1/4 - 1/3 of the book, all the characters I was following are dead. Minus one, who is missing. Instead of following her, it jumps one thousand years into the future.

And that would be ok, except that I don't really care about any of the new people and the story is pretty boring now. Also I skimmed ahead and there is no mention of the missing person AT ALL. I just noticed on the back that her story continues in book TWO. :(

So I will be starting a new book.
