wow... i really don't know how to describe it... it's like a train wreck, fascinating and horrific at the same time...

however, i think it would work quite well as merely a musical rather than an opera...

it was on pbs, you could probably find it somewhere online or something.

oh and the chick that played the lead guy's wife was pretty hot...
