Jan. 22nd, 2006 09:55 amOk so my weekend wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
Friday I went to the airport and picked up Beki. Then we went to Applebee's and had dinner with Lyndsy and Andrew. The restaurant was crazy packed but we managed to get our food in a decent amount of time. Then Beki and I picked up Bethany and we headed over to Celebration to see Brokeback Mountain. On the way to the theatre Scott Larson calls Beki and so we ask him to meet us. So we get there and the theatre (where our movie is playing) is almost empty so we have our choice of seats. After the movie we decide that we want to hang out some more since we didn't really get to talk with Scott during the movie. So we head over to Champions (and totally forgot to call Lyndsy, sorry!!!). We had planned on just having a drink since a) it was midnight and b)...well I don't know what the other reason was...so we get there and one pitcher of beer turns into 3 and we end up closing the bar pretty much. But it was fun. I hadn't seen Scott in years so it was cool to talk to him. The only weird thing was that some random guy came over to our table to try and hit on me...apparently he went to Holt too, but he graduated in '97 so I have no idea who he is. So after we get ourselves out of that situation we went out to our cars to find them buried in snow. We unbury our cars and Scott takes Bethany home and I take Beki to Pat's. I get home somewhere around 3:30am. How I managed to stay awake that long I'll never know...
Saturday I didn't do much of anything since I didn't wake up until about 1:30 in the afternoon. At about 5:30ish I took Beki's Christmas present to her and came back home. I watched American Beauty and felt really crummy until Stu called and said I could go over there, since apparently he was never angry with me (or at least not like I thought he was). So I headed over there at about 10:30 not sure how long I would stay. I didn't know most of the people there. I had never seen them before in my life. But there were a few that I knew so I stuck with them. I probably should've mingled more, but I didn't really feel up to it. However I did stay longer than I thought I would. I got home at about 2:30am. Then somehow I'm awake at 9am...oh well.
Now I should go so I can get a bunch of stuff done today.
