the weekend of little to no sleep...

Ok, we're going to start with Thursday, even tho that's not a weekend day...

Thursday night I went to Don's (ok, Rob lives there too, but since I was going there to see Don, I'm calling it his place...also Rob is moving soonish to where I live...the complex, not my apartment...) after he had ditched me for a free dinner the night before (hey, I wouldn't pass up free dinner either, especially since the last time I was over there there wasn't any food in the place). I had only intended on staying until 11pm or so, but ended up hanging out until 3:30am...

Friday, work sucked as usual, but this was almost worse since I was almost comatose by 2pm...luckily for me we got out at 3:30pm so I went home and took a nap. Then at about 10 or 11 I headed over to Stu's for the pre-party get together to make jell-o shots and hang out. It was a fun night of craziness...that is all I will say here...I went home at about 6am or so...

Saturday I got up at 9am and got around to go to the Highland Festival up in Alma. Linsey got here about quarter to 11 and we headed up. The weather was nice and sunny, but a bit too warm...and apparently too sunny if you ask my shoulders...but it was fun. There were a few new vendors. We felt bad for the animals tho. The border collies wouldn't even come out of their trailer (these are sheep, not dogs btw) so we could see them and the poor ducks were in the middle of the sun with no cover at all...I didn't know that ducks could pant, but I do now...the poor things...and the hairy coos were awesome, and they at least had shade over them, but you could tell they were hot. We went down to the art fair and I found some awesome gifts for Beki and Sarah. Linsey found the right color for the one for Beki...it took forever to find one in pink and I'm pretty sure that was the last one.

Saturday night I got up at about 9pm after the Highland Festival. I made it to Stu's for Bekipalooza at about 10:30. If you weren't there you missed the second time I've been drunk in my life. I'm pretty sure I had more to drink this time, but I handled myself a little better this time. I had fun and got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time. Altho if we had a conversation and I don't remember it, please don't be angry...

Sunday I finally got some sleep. I made it home from Stu's at about 6am and didn't get up until 1:30pm and slept again for a little while until about 6pm. It was roasting in my apartment and there wasn't much else to do. At about 9:30ish I headed over to Jay's since that was where everyone was at and I had nothing to do since Don was stuck at his mom's house...I left there at about 4am.

I haven't done anything yet today, but I'm theoretically going sailing at some point...Rob never told me what time we were leaving...if I don't hear from him by quarter to 4 I'll be heading over to Jay's for the bbq there...
