avoiding going to bed. doesn't feel right to be in it without him. he'll be gone at least a week. i'm not sure i could handle a deployment now that we've actually lived together. especially since i don't know anyone down here. :(

in other news... the renewal ceremony went well. the weather was lovely until we were inside. i'll post pics eventually. i have to go through them and resize and all that.

we spent time with family and a few friends. not as many as we would've liked to, but a few. next time we'll plan everything rather than just seeing who's around and wants to see us. and we'll probably spend less time up. i'm not sure when that will be. i'm guessing around the holidays, but i don't know.

i should try and get some sleep now. maybe the couch won't seem so lonely...
