Jan. 22nd, 2011 02:34 pmSo I've been trying to find ways to make extra money since rent is expensive and so is baby. I tried to find a job that I could do from home, but couldn't really find anything legit. I *did* find one website, but my schedule is so different every day that I don't think I could be very dependable.
Finally I decided I would try to make something I could sell. After much deliberation as to whether or not I'm talented enough to actually make money at it, I decided to try making jewelry. I started with some kits and made a pair of my own design. The kits are a lot harder than expected, but come out really nice looking. I personally like my own better, but meh.
So I made a website in order to sell from home. Hopefully I'll get some customers! Here's the site if you want to check it out: Lavenderspark's Shiny Things it has a page on Facebook as well.
Not much else is new. Kiley's growing and seems to be happy. I think I've adjusted to being a mom. Just trying to still find time for myself as well so that I'm not *just* a mom. That isn't always easy...
