Providence Unveiled & Book #6
Apr. 12th, 2016 11:33 amI don't remember when I finished this, but it was a while ago. It took me a little bit to get back into it since it had been so long since I read the other two. I couldn't remember who some of the characters were, but that's just because of the time between readings. In the end it was a good book and a nice ending to the trilogy.
I picked up some new books last week and have been reading
( John Constantine, Hellblazer: Original Sins ) the last few days. I really like it. I liked the show and was sad when it was cancelled. I saw the set of graphic novels at the comic book store whenever we would go, but they never had the first two books. So when we went last week and they had them on the shelf, I bought them.
The show seems to have really followed the comics well. A few little things are different, and there are some things that I think I picked up on better in the comic than I did in the show. I haven't come to anything from the movie yet, but the movie may be something from further on in the series. I'm on 9 of 12 comics in the collection. There were some visual things happening in this one that I think are from the movie, but the story line isn't the same.
I'm excited to read the whole series. I think there are 13 books, but I've only got the fist two.
