( What the Heart Wants by Kelli McCracken ) I liked the idea of linked dreams, but not a fan of some of the other bits.
( Lost Library by Kate Baray ) This didn't flow well. And was not at all what I was expecting from the description. It's pretty much centered on ONE book and more about the female character and trying to learn about her past/who she is. It wasn't terrible, but I was left a bit disappointed.
( Death in Neverland by Isadora Brown ) Again, not what I expected. The main character is a bit hard to like and she's too young for many of the situations the author puts her in.
( Awaken by Isadora Brown ) Parts of this were great, others not so much. Overall it was a bit disjointed. The main plot of people secretly being Greek Gods was too easily accepted, almost completely glossed over. But the side stories were good.
( Brit on the Side by Brenda St John Brown ) This was ok, the conflicts between characters was a bit unbelievable and there was some pretty heavy handed attempts at body positivity that didn't work well.
( Twisted Fairytales: Nine Paranormal Romances by Multiple Authors ) Some of these were terrible, but some were good. I think my favorite is Night of the Dragon.
I'm currently reading ( Claimed by Shadows by Basia Pike ) This is book 2 in a series where I haven't read book 1, so I'm a little lost, but I think I'll figure it out.
Paperbacks!
( The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins )I really liked this. It's written as a narrative and the speaker is a bit of an unreliable narrator.
( The Perfect Fraud by Ellen LaCorte )This goes back and forth between two stories before coming together. I wouldn't call it enjoyable given the subject matter, but it was a well done story.
( The Last Time I Saw You by Liv Constantine ) This had a good premise, but wasn't done well. It was all over the place and hard to follow at times.
