I just realized I haven't posted ANY of the books I've read this year. 0.0
This is going to be a long one!
( Batman: Dark Victory ) This wasn't quite what I was led to believe it would be, but it was ok.
( Beneath Black Sails by Clare Sager ) This was a fun read. I really enjoyed the main character and the writing was well done.
( John Constantine Hellblazer: Critical Mass ) John is a little extra dickish in this one.
( John Constantine Hellblazer: In the Line of Fire ) The writers decide to break the fourth wall and I don't like it.
( John Constantine Hellblazer: Last Man Standing ) John is less dickish and manages to get a new girlfriend. (side note: for all of fandom going on about John being bi, he's never actually shown dating a guy... at least not in these older comics)
( John Constantine Hellblazer: How to Play With Fire )Ah, capitalism...
( John Constantine Hellblazer: Haunted )Finally, the fourth wall is safely back in place.
( John Constantine Hellblazer: Good Intentions )Almost no supernatural/occult things in this one.
( A Vampire's Fate by Rhiannon Futch ) This was a very enjoyable read! I loved that the main character was 40.
( The Liar's Girl by Catherine Ryan Howard ) I listened to this as an audio book. I've never really done an audio book before, so it was something new. This took 4 or 5 chapters to get going and I increased the narrative speed from 1 to 1.15. Once the story got going though, I really enjoyed it. The ending though... 0.0
( Heartless by Marissa Meyer ) This was a re-read. I enjoyed it almost as much as the first time.
( Empire of Ash by L.R.W. Lee )I really enjoyed this one and have added the series to my list to purchase.
