I haven't posted in a while and just thought I'd write something.
We're mostly unpacked now. I got a job, but I'm going to be quitting in about a week. It's not a horrible job, I'm just not really comfortable doing what they want me to do. I feel like a telemarketer or like I'm harassing people. I don't like it and since I don't need a job, I'd rather find a different one. I don't know what, but I'll find something.
And since I didn't get around to it before, here's some pics I took on the drive down:
Driving through the mountains in Virginia... I saw a mountain goat standing up on top of a close by peak shortly before I took this pic... wasn't quick enough with the camera to get it :(
More mountains...
It's kinda dark, but you can see where they cut into the mountains to make the road.
That's a city waaaaay down below (and Andy's face on the side)
This one's a little better, and you can kinda see the creepy fog/mist/cloud we were driving through. We felt like we were in a horror flick and kept expecting to see some large insect/alien jump out at us...
And these are all over the place in the mountains. The "ramp" is that dirt path going UP the mountain...
After the mountains there wasn't anything interesting to take pictures of, so I put my camera away.
Our place is slowly coming together. The kitchen and both bathrooms are done. Our bedroom is mostly done, it just needs little things to make it pretty, but we've got all the furniture and everything is put away. Once it's all finished I'll take pics and post those as well.
But that's really all that's going on here. Just wanted to give an update!
