lavendersparkI just finished watching Jonathon Strange & Mr. Norrell today. It was a seven part mini series on BBCA this summer. It was amazing. I really liked it. The guide online said it was like Harry Potter for adults, but I disagree. This is completely different. The only similarities I can see are magic and London/England.
I may try to get this on DVD if it becomes available. I know it was based on a book, so I will probably try to see if I can get it from the library and check that out too.
But if you like magical fantasy, definitely check it out. It's also set in Victorian England during the French/English war.
