I haven't finished Weebly and The World Machine yet, but I read Our magic is dying. We'll die with it.
On his deathbed, the king gave me an impossible task—save the fae realm from extinction.
I need to find the cause, but time is running out.
As if that wasn't enough, the king wants me to work with his son.
I loathe him.
And he loathes me.
Even if we can't keep our hands off each other.
With the help of the prince's friend, a scholar, a human trapped in our realm, and a talking cat, we might just figure out why the fae realm is at risk and how to save it.
Or die trying.
Who said my job was simple?
Join my harem and our quest to protect the world.. It was a fun read. It's written in first person, which is awkward for me, I don't know why, just don't really like it. I prefer third person. I liked the world building and the overall story, there were some twists and unexpected bits that were fun.
I'm currently reading Each time he struck, he took two victims. Day after day, he waited for the first body to be discovered--a body containing all the clues the investigators needed to find the second victim, who waited...prey to a slow but certain death. The clock ticked--salvation was possible.
The police were never in time.
Years have passed; but for this killer, time has stood still. As a heat wave of epic proportions descends, the game begins again. Two girls have disappeared...and the clock is ticking.
Rookie FBI agent Kimberly Quincy knows the killer’s deadline can be met. But she’ll have to break some rules to beat an exactingly vicious criminal at a game he’s had time to perfect.
For the Killing Hour has arrived..... I like it so far.
I also wanted to share a new site/app for keeping track of books. I spent two to three days uploading my book list from here and GoodReads to StoryGraph. I really like it so far. My books were easy to find and add and it gives you fun graphs to see what kinds of books you've been reading. You can find my page here: https://app.thestorygraph.com/profile/2e4e656d-1432-4929-a80c-1018fb901d3e
