Long time no post. . .

lavendersparkSo I haven't made a "real" post in a while, so this may be a little long. First with the funny stuff. . .
This is for Jay, our future lawyer:
A man was chosen for jury duty who very much wanted to be dismissed from serving. He tried every excuse he could think of but none of them worked. On the day of the trial he decided to give it one more shot. As the trial was about to begin he asked if he could approach the bench.
"Your Honor," he said, "I must be excused from this trial because I am prejudiced against the defendant. I took one look at the man in his blue suit with those little beady eyes and that dishonest face. I said to myself, 'He's a crook! He's guilty, guilty, guilty!' So your Honor, I can not possibly stay on this jury!"
With tired annoyance, the judge replied, "Get back in the jury box. That man is his lawyer!"
And a little serious stuff. . .
We are doing a blood drive at work on the 30th if there is anyone who hasn't given blood that is able and wants to. Here is the

And in random news. . .
Hopefully Shawn will no longer bother me (or my friends) since I told him not to. I spoke to him on Sunday and told him there was no chance of us getting back together. My whole thing is that if he's not going to attempt to be friends with me to prove to me that he's changed like he says he has then it's not worth it for me. I'm not going to get back into a relationship with him just to find out that he hasn't changed. Every time I would bring up being friends, he was like "I can't just be friends with you, you know that would never work" or something like that. I was just like, um you could if you really wanted to. If I was ever something more than just someone to keep you warm at night, you could do it. I've been friends with more than one ex who had no problem with just being friends. Others I have decided that I wanted nothing to do with them afterwards, but that was because of other reasons. So I apologize to all that were at the bar last weekend and had to deal with him. But thanks for the heads up, he totally called me at like 3:15am and I got up and shut off both of my phones. Which was a really good idea since he called again at about 4am. So hopefully there will be no more of that drama.
As for this past weekend, it was very busy. Friday I wisely did not go to the bar and instead stayed home and finished my book. Saturday I was up early for the Ren Fest, which was awesome even if everything was severely over-priced. The birthday bash later that night was equally awesome. My fairy got around quite a bit along with my underwear. . .but you really had to be there. As for the drama that happened, I say boy totally got what he deserved. What kind of dumbass does that anyway? He was asking for it as far as I'm concerned. On to Sunday. . .Sarah and I went on a shopping mission and completely failed. We'll have to try again, or go back to Target for the one option that was found.
Well, that's all I have to say, so I'll leave you now.
