lavendersparkFor those of you that chose to not come to Stu's Christmas party, you really missed out. We had a blast. There was random stripping and lots of drinking (for six people).
But that's not how my day started. Obviously I went to work, but work is boring, no one wants to hear about work. When I got home, Dave had made dinner for me and it was all ready when I walked in the door. It was very yummy. Thank you Dave!!! Then after dinner we watched a few episodes of Samurai Jack and then Dave took a nap and I got ready for the party. At the party we had Beki on speaker phone for a while, but then Sarah ran off with her and we couldn't talk to her any more. So the boys played Mario golf for a while then Elise came. So we sat around talking, listening to some old school music, playing Mario golf and having fun. The only bad thing is that I guess Stu got pretty sick so he was upstairs after a while. Sarah passed out on the couch and pretty soon Dave and I were the only ones actually totally awake. We left at about 3am and came back here to watch some more Samurai Jack and then Dave left to go to work and I went to sleep at about 4:30am. Needless to say, I didn't wake up until 1pm today.
I got some Christmas shopping done. I found a gift for Stu, Beki and Bardo. And some for a few of my family members too. I will probably try to do some more shopping tomorrow.
But now it's just really sad, I'm sitting at home by myself on a Saturday night...something is wrong with that...

on 2005-12-18 06:02 am (UTC)welcome to my life. and, sorry I didn't answer the phone when you called... I'm seriously _NOT_ liking my super-cute phone... I never hear it ringing, and it doesn't beep every couple of minutes like my old one did to let me know i missed a call... so if i don't hear it ring, i'm s.o.l. unless i check it... blech!

But I survived, went to sleep at about 11AM, woke up at about 9PM, watched some TV, and headed into work at around 2:30 AM to work on some secret projects. Got yours texts -- replied -- got no reply to my reply, so hopefully that means you found something to do.
