what a crazy small world it is...

Ok, so let's go back to Friday for a minute. I'm at work and my phone rings (work phone) and it's some guy from a mortgage broker wanting to change a mortgage on one of our insured's policies. I take all the info and tell him I need the authorization form before I can make the change. He says he's not in the office because he's on his way to a basketball game in Detroit and he'll call back on Monday to get the fax number. Then we talk for five or ten minutes about non-work stuff, mostly the game and his seats.
This morning he calls back while I'm away from my desk. I call him back and ask about the game and we talk about non work stuff for about ten minutes. Then he tells me he already got the fax number and faxed over the form about 5 minutes before I called. So I just double check the info and hang up. I go up front and collect the fax to do the change. As I'm entering the change I realize I didn't get the loan number for the new mortgage. I call him back and get it. Then we talk for like 15 or 20 about non work stuff in the process of which I find out that he knew some people I went to school with.
Then he asks me if I know his cousin...he's the random guy that hit on me at the bar back in January. We both laugh at the crazy-ness of this and then he proceeds to ask if he can call me when he's in Lansing (he lives in Charlotte) so I give him my number. I have no idea who this guy is, but he sounds really nice. Plus I doubt he'll ever actually call me.
So that was my crazy day.
