Hamburger Soup
Oct. 21st, 2009 10:47 pmThis is a yummy soup that is good for cold days. It's actually supposed to be meatball soup, but the hamburger was frozen so I couldn't make the meatballs.
Here's the recipe:
season the meat to taste with:
Ketchup
Mustard
BBQ sauce
Worcestershire sauce OR soy sauce (I don't really like soy sauce, very salty)
Make a can of cream soup using MILK instead of water (I think most actually tell you to use milk, but just in case).
Into cooked and seasoned meat pour cream soup. I used cream of potato, but you could use mushroom or chicken or any other flavor you think would work.
make mashed potatoes (I make instant, but you can mash up real ones if you want)
season potatoes to taste with:
Garlic salt (mine has parsley in it so if you see green in the pic, that's what it is)
Season salt
Scoop some potatoes into a bowl and pour soup over them.
