24: Redemption

lavendersparkso after no season last time because of the writer's strike, we have a new season coming up! i'm not sure if this special was scraps pulled from what was filmed for last season or if they made it specifically for this season...
Warning: Spoilers! so Jack in Africa... not something i would've pictured, but he's hiding from the US government, so i guess it makes sense. and of course Jack is always in the middle of some conflict, so that makes sense too. let's just hope the new president can figure out what's really going on before things get too bad. and of course, in traditional 24 fashion, they'll get it straightened out right at the end of the season.
it'll be interesting to see how Jack avoids prison this time...
it was sad that his friend had to die, but we all saw it coming. how else was Jack going to go back to the US? if he didn't go back there wouldn't be much to the new season.
and i've seen the teasers, i'm not sure i like them making tony into a bad guy again... not to mention the fact that he was DEAD. how many times are they going to kill this guy and bring him back? there are plenty of other characters they've killed off that i'd rather have them bring back. not that i don't like tony, just that i think it's time to let him die for the last time.
and chloe, stay at home mom turns into secret agent. so secret even the government doesn't know. sometimes i think she should just hookup with jack and get it over with. but i don't really think that's what's driving her to help him. it's something else. i don't know what tho.
but i am looking forward to the new season. it should be interesting.
