I made a thing!

Kiley watched The Little Mermaid twice this weekend and last night I was just thinking about what would have happened if the animals hadn't interfered and Ariel hadn't made it to the ship. I'm not sure that Ursula really thought her plan through.

I tried to make this last night, but apparently my new fancy photoshop program can't make animated GIF images. LAME.

So this morning I took my GIMP program from my desktop and put it on my laptop. Had this thing made in like ten minutes. :) I could probably slow it down a bit more, what do you think?

I would make it slower. It flashes pretty fast in my browser and it's hard to read.

I had trouble finding the gif-making part of Photoshop at first, too. *g*

It starts fast in mine, but then slows down. Maybe that's just my internet though lol. I'll work on it later. Thanks for your input!

I have the Corel photo shop and it has a GIF "optimizer." If you want to make actual animated GIFs, you have to buy a separate animation studio. :(

That's annoying. :/

But I can't in good conscience advertise buying Photoshop anymore, either. I mean, I own a copy of CS4, but they don't even sell it anymore these days, you have to lease it. What kind of a horrible business model is that? I don't want to support that!

I don't know if their price information is still accurate. I couldn't get any information from the Adobe site without creating an account.

The whole thing is preposterous in my opinion. It might be okay for professionals, but not for amateurs like me.
