1. What’s your favorite way to stay cool in late summer?
I don't know about favorite, but the ONLY way to stay cool in the summer here in GA is with air conditioning.

2. Are you ready for autumn yet?
Yes, please! I am so over these 100+ temps. :(

3. What do you have left to do before summer ends?
My daughter's birthday is the end of this month. We're doing her first big party! (She's turning 6)

4. Has it been a good summer for you?
Mostly. We got screwed out of our vacation because my husband had to work, but we survived.

5. Have you started Christmas shopping yet?
Nope.

It's been massively hot here and I'm really ready for some cooler weather - and it looks like my wish has been granted, at least for a little while. We are down into the 80's. *yay*

Here from Friday Five!

People from the south (Arkansas here) are almost always ready for autumn by this point. Around August, I resort to staying inside unless I just MUST leave, and then I glare at the sun & the heat like they were sent to be a nuisance to me in particular. :) It's been raining for a week in Arkansas and I'm not even mad.

If we could get some good rain, that would be something! All we've been getting is crap five minute rains that just make things worse. :(

We don't go outside much either, but I walk my daughter to/from school so I'm out twice a day.
