lavendersparkSo I don't know that I have enough icons to do a proper progress post for the year, but I have icons that I've made that I've never posted. So we'll just call this an icon dump for 2017. This isn't ALL of the icons I've made, but it's most of them.
January:
I didn't make any icons :(
Just one lonely icon, but I remember it taking FOREVER because I couldn't capture just how amazing that dress is. This is from Emerald City, a great show that should never have been cancelled.
I think I've shared all of these before? The first one is a picture of my copies of American Gods books made into an icon (I used an image from the show for the background), and the rest are from Powerless (another show cancelled too soon) and Emerald City.
The first one is from American Gods, I wasn't super happy with it and I'm still not. I couldn't get the text right. The other is from a challenge, but I didn't get it done in time to participate. I think I posted it? It's my home town.
These are from several different things. I've posted all but one of these before. Legion, The Labyrinth, X-Files, and Emerald City. I still really like all of these.
More randoms, Dark City, Legion, Emerald City, and The NeverEnding Story. I'm still not super happy with the Dark City one, I was trying something with font, but it ends up just looking really sad.

Two of these were entered in a challenge and one of them won! That was pretty amazing. :)
Midnight Texas and Younger.
I've posted these and use one of them on my Tumblr. I still really like them. These are from Younger.
These are all from The Shannara Chronicles, another show that's been cancelled. ::sigh:: I love how vibrant these are.

on 2018-02-18 10:58 am (UTC)It is so very visible how much you improved from January to December. The lighting is getting better and the sharpening, too, and the coloring is starting to come together, and the text work is getting more complicated.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your progress.
