Pandora's Star
Sep. 8th, 2018 08:21 pmI *finally* finished it!!
I'll admit it was rough going for a bit and I may have avoided reading it occasionally. But it took *at least* two hundred pages to finally establish a coherent story line. And then there was still a random side story that doesn't seem to have had a point.
Overall, I liked the story. The characters were well done and the aliens were interesting. I'm not happy with the ending, but I've placed a hold on the next book, so I'll be able to finish it when I get it from the library in a few weeks.
I am intrigued to see how the story ends.

on 2018-09-22 10:45 am (UTC)I seem to be the only one who loves Peter F. Hamilton's books as much as I do... but I'm glad at least the characters and setting appealed to you, even if not the pacing and general length.
