Book dump because I haven't been updating...

What was Kate Connelly—a tall, glamorous CPA—doing in her family’s antique furniture museum when it exploded into flames in the middle of the night? Why was Gus, a disgruntled retired employee, with her? Now Gus is dead, and Kate lies in a coma, unable to explain the tragedy’s mysterious link to a decades-old missing persons case. Nor to warn her sister what could happen next. This took some weird turns, but I figured it out before the end. Still an enjoyable read.

Kaitlyn knows her new role as a vampire's victim is dodgy, but as an out of work actress, she needs the cash.

She never thought it would leave her at the mercy of a real vampire… A vampire who thinks she's the tastiest of them all.

She'll do anything to escape his cold lips alive, because being part of a blood-sucker's ongoing meal plan isn't high on her list of life goals. She’s playing a dangerous game, but she’s in too deep to stop.

Learning vampires are real is one thing. What happens after that Kaitlyn would never see coming…I got this as an ARC on my Kindle. I really enjoyed this take on vampires.

Both of them suspected that something was wrong--terribly wrong--in the great medical research center where they worked. Both of them wondered why a beautiful young woman had died on the operating table and her brain secretly removed. Both of them found it impossible to explain the rash of female patients exhibiting bizarre mental breakdowns and shocking behavior. Both of them were placing their careers and very lives in deadly jeopardy as they penetrated the eerie inner sanctums of a medical world gone mad with technological power and the lust for more... This was confusing in spots, I felt there were some rather large plot holes and I was unhappy with the ending. It wasn't a *bad* book, but it wasn't as good as some of his others.

Things are bad when you long for the day when it was only one vampire after your blood.

Kaitlyn and Owen just want to live their happily ever after. But that won't be easy when Kaitlyn's blood is as irresistible to vampires as ever.

A surprise trip to Europe leads to a dangerous reunion, and soon Kaitlyn and Owen's lives are threatened by more vampires than you can poke a stake at. New friends, new foes, and new factions fight over Kaitlyn's unique blood and what it can do. And this time, Owen is locked up right alongside her. Can they escape before Kaitlyn is drained dry?

Starting a new life together is hard. Escaping a horde of vampires is even harder.Book 2 in the series, I also received it as an ARC. Filled with more twists and turns, just as enjoyable as the first book.

Billionaire FBI agent John Morgan returns for his father’s funeral, igniting his interest in his sister’s best friend, and getting them both in danger.

For some, joining the FBI is a long-term goal. For billionaire John Morgan, joining the Bureau is a stepping stone to proving his father is culpable for his sister’s death. After his estranged father dies, John is forced to return home and face the ghosts of his past. But that proves to be more difficult than he ever imagined.

After losing her best friend under inexplicable circumstances, Alice Collins’ world view shifts until her small town sensibilities convinced her to attend Mr. Morgan’s funeral. Soon, the past and the present collide, and Alice is caught in the crosshairs. But when John comes to her aid, it only serves to complicate matters for both of them.

Can a handsome billionaire on a vendetta fall for a small town girl…or does he have something else in mind?Character development wasn't great in this, but the story kept me going.

One day I’m working at a dive bar in downtown Los Angeles, and the next I have the undivided attention of a ton of supernaturals…

Including the Shadow Council. They’re a sexy as hell team of guys who are committed to protecting this realm, and their attention is squarely focused on me. You see, the realms between the worlds are closed now, and nobody knows why except for one thing. It’s all the fault of the Mordha.

And when it comes out that I’m the last Mordha on earth, well, it turns into open season on me. But a turf war in Los Angeles? Not on the Shadow Council’s watch. Soon, I’m on lockdown in their Hollywood Hills mansion, and what a group of guys to be in lockdown with.

Remy- the lusty werewolf
Sai- the worldly, no-nonsense vampire
Ruairi- the fire-haired fae prince
Bain- the mysterious incubus

The first guy makes me feel completely seen. One shares a connection with me that I can only begin to comprehend. Another aggravates in me in all the right ways. And the last, well, he arouses the darkest parts of my soul.

The Shadow Council is tasked with keeping us all safe, but what will happen once they find out the truth?

That I’m the one who closed the realms.I really enjoyed this. It was a quick fun read.

Soldier. Summoner. Saint. The nation’s fate rests with a broken Sun Summoner, a disgraced tracker, and the shattered remnants of a once-great magical army.

The Darkling rules from his shadow throne while a weakened Alina Starkov recovers from their battle under the dubious protection of the zealots who worship her as a Saint. Now her hopes lie with the magic of a long-vanished ancient creature and the chance that an outlaw prince still survives.

As her allies and enemies race toward war, only Alina stands between her country and a rising tide of darkness that could destroy the world. To win this fight, she must seize a legend’s power—but claiming the firebird may be her ruin.Book 3 in the Shadow and Bone series. I thought it was a good ending to the trilogy. Hopefully I can start Six of Crows soon.

Some grudges never die…

Kaitlyn just dropped a bombshell on Owen, offering a future he'd never dreamed possible.

But within a heartbeat that future is being threatened by new enemies, ghosts of the past, and cursed vampiric relics.

Escaping torture at the hands of the undead can put strain on any relationship. Will Kaitlyn and Owen save their love, or will they die trying?Another good ending to a great trilogy. I also got this as an ARC.

*all three ARC books are now available as of June 18*
