Great way to start the day...

lavendersparkso after the migraine of death last night, i was amazed to be able to function this morning, let alone get ready for work and actually get out the door on time.
then as i'm walking to my car i notice that my driver window is smashed in. awesome. it's like 7:30am. so i turn away from my car and call work, leave a message saying i won't be in until further notice.
i get back up to my apartment and try to figure out what i can do since no glass companies are open yet. so i call the office here and leave a message to let them know and then call the police. as i'm waiting i notice another car also got hit and the girl is out with her car. so at least i know it isn't just me.
finally 8am hits and i call the glass company and tell them i need someone to come out and replace my driver door window. they say they'll send someone out at some point today. great. i can't drive my car b/c there's glass everywhere.
about 8:15am a police officer shows up and starts talking to the other girl and i go down and talk with both of them. when we walk over to my car i notice that the passenger window is gone as well. fantastic. so i call the glass company and let them know i need two windows. as we're going thru stuff in my car i find blood...first good news of the morning. i gave it to the officer who is going to send it to a lab and hopefully catch the people who did it. she checked my car fro prints, but they were all smudges.
thankfully all they took were the four cds that were in the center console. they didn't get into the glove box where i had like 10 cds so that's good for me.
however now i'm stuck at home until the glass company gets here and i'm going insane!! so i don't know...someone needs to call me or something...
