weekend update

lavendersparkso friday i called in to work and went mini golfing with dave & jay, which was fun even tho i am horrible at it...then a bunch of us went down to the folk fest and wandered around. after that we went to stu & rob's and watched a really awesome tv show called wonderfalls.
saturday we got up early and went to michigan's adventure. we being sarah, rob, dave & i. it was awesome. i haven't been there in at least 10 years. we went to the water park first and rode most of the rides including the newish one called the funnel of fear. it was awesome even tho we almost died and i bruised my ass...then we went to eat at bob evan's and had some yummy breakfast food. we made it back to the park at about 8 and rode some rides. i actually rode one and survived. it was shivering timbers. i don't remember it being so fast, but it was fun even tho i now have a welt on my leg from putting it under the bar to hold myself in. i was hardly in my seat for the whole ride and the lap bar doesn't exactly lock down for me...but we made it home by about midnight and then just crashed.
for some reason i was wide awake at 10:30 this morning...i may take a nap later. but tonight i have to make it out to my friend doug's birthday party so he doesn't kill me...it's not until 7 tho so i've got time. :)
hopefully i have a job on monday since i called in at quarter to 8 and was like, yeah, i'm taking a pto day today...but hey, at least i called.

the bad news is that I'm not painting that room pink. We were going to paint the small room obnoxious pink for you, but that room is already painted really well, and I don't particularly feel like mussing that up. sorry hun, I love you... but only so much :-D
