I've been working on some icons based on The Amazing Devil lyrics. I finally finished three that I like.

I love the first and the third ones.

1) The pic goes well with the lyrics, and the coloring of the mortar and text fits really well together.

2) This one doesn't work for me as well as the others because I can't read the text - the image behind the text is still sharp enough to make reading the lower half of it hard. The top half works fine, and the bookshop is also well visible, so that is all fine. I'd try and blur the picture on the bottom more so the text stands out better.

3) That one is great, too. Good lighting, good text and font choice, fitting image, great contrast. I don't mind at all that the "Write" is a little hard to read here, because everything is obviously about writing and it's easy to guess from that.

I struggled a lot with the second one. No matter what color or font I used, I couldn't get the bottom text to be clear. I might mess with it some more and see if I can get it to look better.
