Warning: Spoilers! Yay Edgar Allen Poe! I would be fascinated enough by a journal of his to go back to it after it hurt me too. There was no hint of the pain in the relationship between Myka and her father though. She's talked about her unhappy childhood and she's tried to get out of going home before. Not to say that she shouldn't be upset when her mother calls and says her dad is dead but I expected something different between them once she got home and saw that he was fine. It would've made their making up at the end better.
I love how Pete managed to get there before Myka and was eating her mom's chicken. Just all random-like. But um, just tearing down a brick wall BY HAND; what?? Must've been a rather poorly constructed wall. Good thing for the teacher though.
And since when did Jack the Ripper have a lantern? I've watched quite a few documentary things on him and none of them mention him carrying a lantern. Hmmm.
Next week is the season finale!
