This was confusing in spots, I felt there were some rather large plot holes and I was unhappy with the ending. It wasn't a *bad* book, but it wasn't as good as some of his others.

Book 3 in the Shadow and Bone series. I thought it was a good ending to the trilogy. Hopefully I can start Six of Crows soon.

Poem

After realizing summer break is half over and I've done nothing, I decided to assign myself crafty things to do each day. Today is writing day, so I pulled out my magnetic poetry set and this is what I came up with.

(Don't) listen to the dark
secret voice
devoted to the kill.
Your broken strength
cuts bone.
Love like poison
seeps into the air
bathed in ferocious
night.
